What I was up to the past few days…

Talk about a busy few days! Welcoming new babies, watching tiny folks graduate from elementary school, and getting to meet the best Tupperware lady of all time. Just a typical weekend, what can I say?

Happy Father’s Day! Here’s hoping you had a great weekend with your family like I did. Here I am with Gramps and my dad at the BBQ my brother held at his house on Sunday.

Anyone notice the cool new Vernors sign the gang at Mae’s acquired? Can’t wait to see what they do with it.

While stocking up on some Martha Stewart video from the Royal Oak Public Library I found this – video muffins! This made me chuckle more than it probably should have…

Congrats to my favorite new sixth-grader, Oliver! Elementary school graduation is still just as fun when you’re not the one graduating.

We went to see Dixie Longate at Fifth Avenue in Royal Oak for an Affirmations fundraiser. She was absolutely hysterical and Nick was fantastic as usual and let me pick out a few pieces of Tupperware to act as a donation.

I’ve been crafting up a storm recently with all the babies and weddings coming up! Here’s the tummy time mat and soft book I made for Brooke Barger, the newest member of the Barger family. We paid a visit to her and I’m pleased to report she has some very proud parents.

Did you know that Ray-Ban is celebrating 75 years of glasses magic?! I was honored to do a photo shoot with the Detroit Free Press this weekend and show off my colorful collection. I’m not sure which photos they’ll use or when the story will run, but it was so much fun acting as Wayfarer model for an hour.

And it wouldn’t be a weekend if Ronnie didn’t try to help with a crafting project. And by help I really mean try to destroy all of my supplies.
